The Model 1935 Banner Mauser is currently the most advanced rifle in the Exército Imperial's arsenal. Originally bought in quantity from Germany, it has since entered production locally and has become the new standard rifle, supplementing the more readily available Model 1908 Mauser in front line service.

The Model 1908 Mauser has a storied history with the Exército Imperial. The standard rifle during the South American war, it gave fantastic service. The current standard issue longarm, it is being supplemented by the Model 1935 Banner, and is expected to be phased out of front line service once production of the 1935 Banner reaches sufficient levels.
