Surprised no one has commented yet, interesting tank but isnt it a bit slabsided?

I quite like the look of the tank, but I'm unsure about the turret design. It looks like a cleft turret, which is just a bit strange.

Thanks for your comments....
Well, I don't understand corectly what "slab-sided" means...do you mean that the chassis/hull ist too high/too voluminous? I had the same feeling first, but the lack of space in the turret should be somehow compensated (a part of the ammunition is stored in the hull.)

The turret is supposed to be some kind of 'Schmalturm 2.0' as the tank is supposed to be a further development of the Panther II. The faceplate is supposed to be a further development of the Saukopfblende... not shure if it would work like this.
I agree, the space for the turret crew would be somewhat small....maybe too small.

What I meant is that the turrets looks rather square/angular like modern tanks rather than rounded sloped like the tanks of the late 40´s-early 50`s

Interesting. However, I think the comparative height of the hull is very very low (particularly in comparison to the turret); there won't be much room for a crew or even an engine...

The tank has an overall height of about 2,40m which is slightly higher than the soviet tank designs of the same era. The crew spaces would be cramped but I think it would work....somehow. The engine would be a opposed-piston engine which should fit into the low profile hull....

Considered doing a version with stillbrew armor modules?

G-2 D-4 (mod.1982)

Yeah, I don't really know what stillbrew armor is....If I know I will consider it. But a version with ERA is planned...
This version comes with additional armor shields against HEAT rounds for the turret, an upgraded main gun with thermal encasing and some other stuff....

G-2 D-10 (mod. 1989)

This version looks maybe even more "russian" than the previous versions.

Upgrades would be:

-Increased engine Power
- added storage boxes
- reactive armor
- additional smokeshells
- heavy AA machine gun (13mm)
- improved optics for gunner and commander
- improved commander cupola
- improved night vision equipment
- improved fire controls systems

Yeah, I don't really know what stillbrew armor is....If I know I will consider it.

It was a form of British composite armor, part predecessor to Chobham armor.
