Atlantic AT-9 Virgina

Atlantic AT-9 Virginia, a two-seat low-wing monoplane trainer with enclosed cockpit and retractable undercarriage first flown in 1934 and produced for the Netherlands, Kongo and the USAAF. Dimensions 42.6/ 29/ 380 sq ft; 600hp Pratt & Whitney R-1340 radial; max speed 210mph; service ceiling 23,200ft; rate of climb 1,331ft/min; range 650 miles; armament one synchronised .30in Browning MGs another mounted dorsally can also be fitted.

Beech AT-10 Wichita, a twin-engined two-seat advanced trainer of all-wooden construction with a single fin. Dimensions 44/ 34.4/ 298 sq ft; two 280hp Lycoming R-680-9; max speed 198mph; service ceiling 16,900ft; normal range 770 miles at 177mph.

Fairchild AT-21 Gunner

Fairchild AT-21 Gunner, a twin-engined purpose-built gunnery trainer for the USAAF. Developed via the XAT-13 and XAT-14 prototypes the AT-21 has a nose gun and a modern powered dorsal turret for training gunnery students. The aircraft is a conventional twin-engined type with twin fins.
