Interesting. Looks pretty decent, like a better-balanced MiG-3, though I think the forward fuselage is too long and thin. Maybe when I get home tonight I'll fiddle with the drawing and offer some suggestions, if you don't mind?

I would really like to see your improvements.

Well, the forward fuselage maybe looks to thin....I created this prototype after I have drawn the production versions... I think the forward fuselage of the production versions should not look too thin because the rear is not as massive....

I actually like the first version better - it looks more solid and survivable. The tails of the follow-on aircraft look rather delicate to my eyes.

Thanks, looks very good. But for mytaste the Tail looks too massive compared to the nose/front fuselage, which has been radically sized down.

All I did was shorten the nose and streamline the propeller hub in order to improve the pilot visibility. I considered both slimming the fuselage down and shortening the tail, but I think the general layout seems to fit well with historical aircraft.

Poland is nearby Germany ;) so it's no wonder to see a similarity to the Bf-109

I'm seeing more of a Spitfire / MiG-3 look, myself.

You mean the LaGG-3, don't you?

True, I guess it does have the LaGG tail. The MiG-3 look was more pronounced early on in the drawings when you had the really long nose.
