Zastava M41 2-ton Cargo Lorry

The M41 cargo truck has been developed to meet Royal Yugoslav Army requirements for an all-wheel drive tactical load and troop carrying motor vehicle. It is expected to enter production late in 1941 and is intended to supplant the RYA’s current fleet of Skoda and Tatra tactical lorries.



Engine - Zastava Vee-8cylinder side valve liquid-cooled 3613 cc petrol engine rated for 85 bhp at 3800 rpm
Transmission - Dry plate clutch, 4F1R gearbox. Two speed transfer box with front axle declutch, 6.67:1 gear ratio
Suspension - Rigid axles with semi-elliptic leaf springs
Brakes - Hydraulic
Tyre size - 7.50-20
Electrics – 6 volts from battery
Fuel capacity – 110 litres
Wheelbase – 3680mm
Overall – Length 5690mm, width 2185 mm, height 2690mm (without tilt)
