ST40 Salvage Tank

To recover damaged tanks in the field the Zastava Ordnance Works converted the chassis of a LT.38 light tank to serve as a salvage vehicle. It is fitted with an anchor, allowing the vehicle better use of the heavy-duty winches with which it is fitted, and it can support a jib crane that can be used to hoist engines and other heavy components of tanks during routine maintenance.
