Just out of curiousity what does AM stand for? I'm also wondering how many smaller vessels germany has in its navy. Given that smaller ships seem to be unlimited in both the Ct and VT I'd assume that Germany will have many.

AM is the American abbreviation for minesweeper: Auxiliary, Minesweeper

As of the end of quarter, there are six patrol boats, six minesweepers, and fourteen small submarine chasers either in service or under construction. There are likely also a couple of training ships, plus stuff like tugs, net layers, and so forth, but not a whole lot.

Though the treaties don't limit some of the miscellaneous craft I can build, Versaille historically limited German manpower as well as ships; I assume this limit, increased to be in-line with our Versaille limitations, are also in effect. That'll stop me from building too much light stuff.
