Latvia is bored

And has very uninventive, uncreative minds ATM.

So, a design competition. The nation that designs the wierdest and most unusual ship, that is still somewhat practical with 1940s technology, that is in the range of 550-600 tons, will recieve 634 tons from Latvia in Q4/1940 to build said ship for Latvia. Only limitations are that the ship must use Russian calibers unless a very valid reason why it shouldn't can be shown.

Well.......

It's a bit small for an aircraft carrier or a battleship........

Give us a bit more info please!

Thursday, June 16th 2011, 12:07am

Simple. Wierdest ship that can feasibly be constructed on 600 tons or less. No other limitations...

you'll be soooooorrrrrrryyyyyyy!!!! :D :D :D :D

Will see if I can come up with something with an armored swimming pool, armored toilets or a statue of a Latvian hero which can be launched at the enemy once I get home. :D

Where did I leave my plans for the catamaran armed with a gatling dynamite gun and recoiless 21" guns?

Only 10 tons for booze???????

Should be plenty to keep the troops happy until the crew comes back to restock the ship....
... of course we could always convert an oiler to carry extra booze and pump it aboard when necessary. :)

You know, if the water in the picture is a little bit higher, those guys can climb aboard the Relaxation floating down their streets. :D

Guys, we need a floating lumberjack mobile to invade Canada from within. :)
