Vought F4U

Blanks of several F4U variants.

Color chart is on some of them, as you can see.

Original F4U-1 with the birdcage canopy.

XF4U-3; few of these were manufactured and primarily used as engine testbeds.

The F4U-4, the last Corsair to enter service in WWII.

F4U-5, an improved F4U-4. Incorporates 4x20mm cannons.

Isn't this sort of thread the purpose for the Non-WW folder?

Hasn't the United States flown the Vought F4U in some form? I believe I recall something from the last Talons or so.

The F4U showed up in the 1939 Talons, correct.

I was going to just give these to Canis, but I decided to let all the boys and girls have a gander at them.
