S/Y Delphine

Here's a little ship I doodled up over a few hours. It's the steam yacht Delphine, named after the only daughter of her first owner. She was built in 1921 and cruised the Great Lakes during her early career, but occasionally made forays into the Atlantic. During WWII, she was obtained by the US Navy as the U.S.S. Dauntless and served as the flagship of Admiral King.

At the moment she's for sale, if you happen to have a spare 38 million Euros lying around.

very nice drawing
You smug-faced crowds with kindling eye
Who cheer when soldier lads march by,
Sneak home and pray you'll never know
The hell where youth and laughter go.

Great work Brock.
Good to see you getting into SB. I won't comment on the hull shading here, it looks great anyhow!

38 million Euros ... that means saving money for a bit over 25,000 months and I could buy her. :)
