North American NA-50

In the OTL, North American Aviation developed a single-seat version of its NA-16 trainer/general purpose aircraft as an export fighter. In the late 1930s a small quantity of these were sold to Peru, where they saw combat in border conflicts with Ecuador. In 1941 a quantity of similar aircraft were sold to Siam, but were requisitioned by the USAAC prior to delivery.

Nifty.

I think the planes were sold to Peru after the US denied delivery to Siam.

Indeed, I think they were, eventually.

I've seen pictures of them, designated "P-64", in USAAF colors, apparently shortly after Pearl Harbor.
