Vultee Vanguard

The Vanguard was developed by the Vultee Aircraft Company of Downey, California, in 1940. It was ordered by Sweden - 144 aircraft - which were embargoed by the US; they were then assigned to the RAF for Lend Lease, but empounded after Pearl Harbor. In 1942 they were shipped out to China to equip the Chinese Air Force, but apparently saw very little if any service. A neat looking aircraft that was never really tested in combat.
