China Marine Surveillance & Coast Guard

China Marine Surveillance & Coast Guard:

The China Marine Surveillance & Coast Guard (CMSCG), founded on 12 November 1931 after the El-Derretir epidemic, is a paramilitary maritime law enforcement agency of the ministry of defence. The agency is responsible for enforcing laws and order within china’s territorial waters, to protect maritime environment, natural resources, navigation aids and other facilities, and carry out maritime surveys. In time of emergency, the agency can also be deployed for other missions such as search and rescue.

The CMSCG carries out regular patrols and inspections in China’s coastal waters and shorelines using vessels and aircraft.

Currently there are nine flotillas across the country.

Chinese Coastal Command (CCC)

Chinese Coastal Command (CCC):
The Chinese Coastal Command is the successor of the Chinese Air Force Sea Rescue Services. During the CAFSRS was actually only responsible for the rescue of downed pilots, the tasks of the CCC has been substantially expanded. The missions now include search and rescue (SAR), Maritime Law enforcement, aids to navigation support (such as operating lighthouses and fire ships), and marine environmental protection.
In case of war the responsibility of the CCC gets still further objects, namely Anti-Submarine warfare, Commerce raiding, aerial reconnaissance, Air-Sea rescue and weather reconnaissance.

Coastal Command Air Station:
A Coastal Command Air Station provides aviation support for the Chinese Marine Surveillance & Coast Guard. The CCC operates approximately 350 aircraft from 15 Air Stations in the Chinese Empire. In addition to flight boats also fixed-wing aircrafts are stationed at a CCAS.
