Heh, as long as the Czechs live up to their obligations under the Treaty on Minorities, Germany will be silent on the Sudetenland. We haven't raised the issue since the Czechs promised to abide by it.

With the threat of Panzers thundering over the border, Stukas diving onto their towns and the stamp of jackboots all over their country its no wonder the Czechs abide by it.
Being a Great Power is a big benefit in diplomacy.

Heh, Germany'd have to spend some time mobilizing before I took on the Czechs, they STILL have a bigger army than Germany does. And while they'd have to watch their other borders with a few troops (not having made friends with all their neighbors), so would Germany (the Belgian border particularly).

And, if the Czech's feel hemmed in and can be brought into Germany's orbit, so much the better.

One thing to note: the Warsaw Pact will not QUITE control all land commerce between Russia and western Europe: the Danzig Corridor railway is done and that is (leased, granted) treated as German territory. Certainly it could be easily closed by the Poles, but that would be a more serious step than some others.
