World Cup 2010!

This is El Zorro reporting live...

Reports from Australia are currently very confusing. Several parliament members are reportedly calling for an immediate invasion of Germany, while others are calling for the execution of the entire Australian squad. The people on the street want both, to wipe out the shame of the world cup opener.

Meanwhile in Mexico, El Presidente delivered a speech in which he demanded that the criminal referees that oversaw the Mexican-South African match be extradited to Mexico yesterday, or else Mexico threatens war until justice is served. No less than an overturn of the final score of the match will satisfy the Mexican people, and rioting has already ripped through several major cities. Piñatas of the South African head of state and the referees are selling like hot cakes.

On the other side of the Atlantic, one Robert Green has become the most wanted man in the British Empire, some reports indicate that the entire British Armed Forces have been mobilized with the intention of hunting down and destroying this man.

More than a few people have already gone missing aboard the Japanese casino carrier after victories by two of the 3 Japanese teams. Apparently the missing complained about Japan's blatant cheating in sending three teams to the World Cup. The fate of the men is yet unknown.

Despite calls by fringe groups in both Brazil and Argentina to boycott the games after the South African War, the decision not to boycott was passed by an overwhelming vote in both governments. Those that protested the move have disappeared. Observers worry that these two allies could soon be at war with each other if they happen to face of in the playoffs.

What, did the Mexicans lose again? *Checks schedule* Nope, not scheduled to be defeated by the French until Thursday...

Oh, hey. Chile versus Honduras is on tonight. Sweet. VIVA LA ROJA!

Oh my! The US has played in the two craziest games so far and been robbed twice, and yet pulls of a stunning victory! Wow!

I was getting ready to book a flight to South Africa and strangle some refs...

Unfortunately Australia is out (friggin Germans), but Mexico is in after completely annihilating the French team.

Crazy cup, awful refs, cardiac US team, I love soccer...

What a win we won!

And on Friday, La Roja (Chile) plays La Roja (Espana)! After a dry spell of 42 years of abysmal fortunes, Chile has won a World Cup match!

The French annihilated themselves and made it easy for the Mexican's, something Uraguay didn't do. :D

No one gave Mexico a chance against France. It was the Mexican win that lead to the complete implosion of the French. The Mexico-Uruguay game was really good initially, until both teams realized they would qualify anyway and just gave up.
