Meanwhile in Mexico, El Presidente delivered a speech in which he demanded that the criminal referees that oversaw the Mexican-South African match be extradited to Mexico yesterday, or else Mexico threatens war until justice is served. Piñatas of the South African head of state and the referees are selling like hot cakes.
On the other side of the Atlantic, one Robert Green has become the most wanted man in the British Empire, some reports indicate that the entire British Armed Forces have been mobilized with the intention of hunting down and destroying this man.
More than a few people have already gone missing aboard the Japanese casino carrier after victories by two of the 3 Japanese teams. Apparently the missing complained about Japan's blatant cheating in sending three teams to the World Cup. The fate of the men is yet unknown.
Despite calls by fringe groups in both Brazil and Argentina to boycott the games after the South African War, the decision not to boycott was passed by an overwhelming vote in both governments. Those that protested the move have disappeared. Observers worry that these two allies could soon be at war with each other if they happen to face of in the playoffs.
