S3: upgrading to S3.5.
D2: Barque Pamir purchased; receiving 25% refit to become CNS Esmeralda. 975 tons added Q1/39.

One triple 8" turret (C Turret) recovered from Nevado Ojos del Salado. B Turret was declared constructive total loss and guns were removed for spares for Volcan Osorno and Capitan Tylor.

[SIZE=3]Summary[/SIZE]
All "Emergency Use" transports except Cachapoal and Imperial have been zeroed out of the Navy lists due to age or poor maintenance. The Navy has designated twelve vessels as new Emergency Use transports in replacement. The Navy has also acquired the sailing ship Pamir, which it has renamed Esmeralda and is converting to a sail training vessel.

Constitucion finishes receiving construction materials and will complete on January 27th, 1939. The escort carrier Chiloe finishes her sea trials for service as a training and antisubmarine carrier.

1 Minesweeper is completed in Q1 in Brazil, and is transferred to Chile as well.
