The Investigation of the Augsburg Sinking
The Kobe Talks
The Navy and the Kapp Putsch
Return of the Trotha

The Investigation of Augsburg Sinking

The report for the sinking of the Augsburg is currently underway. The inital report states that disrepair caused part of the hull to give away and caused major flooding that made the ship sink. Further information will be fowarded after the return of Vice Admiral Adolf von Trotha.

The Kobe Talks

Vice Admiral Adolf von Trotha has arrived at Kobe and is under talks with Japanese leadership for what they want instead of the now lost Augsburg. Intial reports indicate that any further warship might not be sufficent since most of the High Seas Fleet is either scuttled, wrecked, or in proccess of being handed over to other nations. Further information will be coming shortly

The Navy and the Kapp Putsch

Some intial reports say that high leadership in the Reichsmarine might have been ready to support the Putsch. Offical statements from the navy state otherwise. The investigation arm has stated that the investigation is still under way and a report of findings will be announced sometime this month.

The Return of Trotha

Initial reports stated that Trotha could be back by the end of the month. Those reports are now not correct. The government has now stated that Trotha is to visit India along with the best known location of the Augsburg. Info as to when he will be back are still up in the arms but the Navy stated he should be back by Christmas, if not earlier. The current talks with the Entee have been delayed until he returns.

Admiral von Trotha is certainly welcome to visit India; please advise if there are any special arrangements or preparations to be made.

If the Indian Navy can be of assistance in investigating the tragic loss of the Augsburg, please let us know.

I dont think there is much need. A supporting vessel was nearby when it occured. Most of the details will be released in the next issue.
