El Pais, special issue, evening 8th October 1923
His Majesty's foreign department just informed that at 3 PM, CET the Danish Prime Minister and special envoys of Iberia and Italy that had secretly arrived in the city put ink to a full alliance Treaty between Iberia, Italy and Denmark. This will obviously have to be ratified by all three parliaments, but nevertheless represents a huge triumph for Iberia's foreign policy. We wish Iberia and her new allies all the best. Long live the King!
Rome Revue 8th October
8th October Today the reason for the strange events of the past week is explained. A group of dignatories including King Vittorio Emmanuelle himself arrived in Copenhagen by air after making stops in Munich, Dusseldorf and Hamburg. They were received by the Danish Prime Minister and the Italian ambassador. After a long meeting between the Danish, Iberian and Italian parties it emerged that a Triple-Alliance has been formed between the countries. The Ibero-Italo Alliance has already delivered many positive gains and this hopes to bring these 3 countries closer together in economic and military matters.
