Chile is a bit relieved to see only one Quechua in Q2. ;)

Heh, even if Peru wanted a second, Germany is out of slips or docks for 190m ships at the moment..... :)

Ahha. Good news for Chile, then. :P

Just as a reminder - Bulgaria still wants to bid on the two Emdens once their replacements (I presume the new Karlsruhe-class) comes into service. One of two good-looking post-WWI German ships, and you didn't build the second, so I can't buy it. :P

Yep. Of course, Germany DID just extend the Wilhelmshaven D2 to a D3 this quarter.....

The Emden class will be replaced by the second pair of Karlsruhes, the first pair is replacing their namesakes that were sold to Turkey. So which is the other class that you like?

The Ugly Sisters, Scharnhorst and Gniesenau. A few knockoffs proposed for elsewhere, of course. Had I been running Chile when the Polish ship came up, I would have bought it; but too late now.

Heh, if Chile wants a copy of Warzawa, it needs only to contact the German embassy, the attaches there can put the Chileans in contact with the designers.... :)

Thanks; but the open requisition slot was filled by the purchase of the Nordish Den Norske Love and the order of the heavy cruiser Constitucion; further, the current decision-makers of the Armada de Chile are not Fisherites. (In any case - no insult intended - German success at getting Brazilian, Argentine, and Peruvian business has significantly decreased their chance of getting Chilean business, as I have a bit of a need to Do Things Different for the sake of keeping things interesting. A bit of an inverted case of "keeping up with the Joneses".)
