Nordmark & my involvement

As some of you may have noticed, my active involvement in the sim has been sporadic to say the least.
This has been real life leaving me really unable to make any sort of meaningful effort towards running Nordmark.

After a lot of thought, I have therefore decided to stand down as a player, and make Nordmark available to another player.

I will still be around regularly, and will be happy to advise on matters of rail transport.

Thank you for your patience with me, and for giving me such fun in playing in the sim.

In my usual whimsical and traditionally inapporpriate fashion, I put this together right after I saw Earl's post. I held back a few hours in hopes it would be taken in the spirit it's offered, and not taken as offense;

And back to being serious, it's always sad to see a good, long-standing player leave us, and I've got nothing but good wishes for Earl, including the hope that he'll be able to come back at some point.

I also had the same thought as Hrolf, that Nordmark might be a good fit for RLBH, if he's interested.

It's sad news given the effort Earl has put in and the good organisation and running of his country. Another old-timer falls by the wayside and makes the younger players a little older...

Earl, hope things get better and spare time increases for you. There will always be a spot open for you I'm sure in WW somewhere. No doubt I'll be calling on you from time to time for more rail advice in future WW years!

Certainly I feel Nordmark would suit an experienced and well-balanced player like RLBH.

Old? I was in my late 20's when this sim started. Now I'm 4 years away from 40 (as of yesterday) and some here are much older than I!

You're a youngster!

My kids were grade school when we started up.

Now the oldest is getting a driver's license and is within sight of college....

So not looking forward to the "TJ driving" thing.
