Coastal Artillery

Historical guns of 6" caliber and larger. An OTL order for six 12"/L50 coast artillery guns was made in OTL to the US (but these guns were seized for the US Army during the Great War, prior to delivery). They have been replaced by guns of Atlantean construction.

Sixteen 5.5" and eight 3" guns removed from the light cruisers Astraea and Antrim are awaiting installation as coast defense guns around Talcahuano, Valparaiso, Arica, Puerto Montt, and Antofagasta. Four 9.4" and eight 4.7" guns from the coastal battleship Capitan Prat are installed at Talcahuano. Ten 8" from the scrapped cruisers Chacabuco, Blanco, Esmeralda, and O'Higgins have been rebuilt into coast artillery guns around Valparaiso. Thirty-eight 6" guns from these ships (also cruiser Negro) have been placed in coastal batteries at Antofagasta, Valparaiso, and Arica.

The Chilean-developed 10", 15", and 17" guns (latter still in development) have coast artillery mounts developed, but are not yet used as such.
