Electronics

Notes on electronics used by the Atlantean navy.

Dradis stands for Declension, Right Ascension, and Distance. Right Ascension and Declination are a system of coordinates used in astronomy to determine the location of stars, planets and other objects in the sky. They are similar to the system of longitude and latitude used to locate places on the Earths surface. Other nations use the term RADAR which stands for RAdio Direction And Ranging which sometimes leads to the translation of Dradis into Direction, Range And DIStance, which is false as the last two words are synonymous in meaning.
