No picture?

Its difficult to know exactly what the missiles are, but the anti-ship outfit seems very heavy. Not so sure about reloadable launch tubes for the anti-air missiles. It probably makes more sense for have the anti-air missiles in VL or gun type launcher forwards with a couple of anti-ship missiles in canisters amidships (exocet?)

Otherwise looks quite nice, maybe a bit too much draught.

Hull is actually the exact dimensions of the Dutch Karel Doorman-class frigates that Chile recently purchased... except 1,200 tons heavier.

Yes, I probably should have maintained the original antiship loadout - eight Harpoons and the Sea Sparrows in a VLS.

This is the real ship.

So a modernized Almirante Latorre cruiser is next?

*Shrugs* I don't know. Probably not, actually; if we run past the 1950s (at this rate, yikes?) I'll probably work on an SSN fleet, backed by a carrier task force and a horde of 2,000-ton multipurpose frigates.

Cool!!!!!

Dutch M-frigates :]

They're some of the best-looking modern frigates in the world, IMHO. Not like those ugly stealth frigates.

Call it national pride but I like the look of our Halifax frigates.

Okay, yes, I can see that. I like the Dutch M-class look a bit better, but that's JMHO; the Halifaxes are definitely good-looking ships.

Oddly, it works the opposite way for me. I look at all the USN frigates and say "OHP class? Meh!" I like the look of the Arleigh Burkes, but other USN ships just look rather blase.

I agree on the Burkes, very nice looking ships, while the OPH look rather dated because....well...they ARE dated.

It's funny hearing that when you go and read Red Storm Rising where the OPH's are brand new and compared to the even older 1052's. :P
