Yes - with all the cash in hand from the battleship and seaplane carriers, he's in no hurry to sell the destroyers. Them's the breaks. :D

Call me loco in the coco, but I no longer see the virtue in selling something for just above scrap value. If I'm going to incur whatever stigma comes with selling to folks like Mexico or China, I might as well make some useful coin from it.

Entirely reasonable opinion, as I see it.

Quite so. The seller ought to drive the best bargain possible, unless political considerations bear. So too should the buyer seek his best bargain. It's the capitalist way.

New RSAN entry

The RSAN offers up to three light cruisers of the Yaounde class for sale in 1945. The units in question are:

Brazzaville, laid down 1919, refitted 1932 (due for life extention refit 1947+)
Port Gentil, laid down 1920, refitted 1932 (due for life extention refit 1947+)
Bata, laid down 1920, refitted 1932 (due for life extention refit 1947+)

RSAN Brazzaville is a veteran of the ABS war and shared most operations with the name-sake ship of her class, RSAN Yaoundé. Both fought many duels and participated in the first fleet air-to-air battle fought late January 1936, sometimes referred to as the Battle of the Malvinas Islands, where Argentine and South African carrier forces clashed. The cruiser remained unscathed during all her adventures.

RSAN Port Gentil and RSAN Bata served in the Indian Ocean during the ABS war and saw little action escpet escort duties and the hunt for some raiders.

If any party is interested in buying one or several unit(s) of the Yaounde class, please call your local SAE arms dealer.

Have the British lost faith in Mexico's purchasing power?

*goes on shopping spree* :p

What? I need ships for the Mexican Far East squadron... Oh did I say that out loud?

In Mexico's case it would be:
Far East = Europe.
Very Far East = Arabian peninsula area, Palestine, Syria, etc
Extremely Far East = India, Afghanistan, Western China, etc.
Ridiculously Far East = Eastern China, Japan, Philippines, etc.
:D

Bump. These vessels are still available.

Well, since there have been no inquiries regarding these vessels for a considerable period, these vessels are officially off the open market.

From Q1/45 the heavy cruiser Almirante Brown will be disposed of as surplus to requirements and placed on the market.

The usual caveats about the Far Eastern situation apply.

Do you actually mean Almirante Brown? In your post here you say the Brown is decommissioning and the La Argentina is joining 4th Cruiser Squadron...

Whoops, another pasting error. I did indeed mean Almirante Brown!
I've edited my post above.

If no-one buys her, given the odd armament calibre only Argentina uses in WW that's a possibility, she will be scrapped.

German Leberecht Maas class Heavy Destroyer

The Kriegsmarine is considering the foreign sale or transfer abroad of up to six units of the subject class during 1945. Details of the vessels in question can be found here.

The vessels were given minor refits in 1942. Serious offers will be entertained. Active belligerents need not apply. ;)

Quick sale!

I might have bid but Argentina has enough destroyers and the Belgians have more than enough and the Dutch would need to do too much work on them.

Ah, I suppose the Mexican fleet has grown again! Though my hunch is Peru for these ships.
