Hmmm, my bets are Peru, Ireland, Philippines, Persia as a wildcard. Can't think of many other likely candidates and relatively few players have been active lately to make bids.

Considering the number of destroyers it has under construction, and the number of older destroyers it has scrapped or otherwise disposed of, the Philippines has no interest in the Farraguts. Indeed the Philippines is unlikely to buy abroad except under very special and extenuating circumstances.

That's a surprising move, the one Brock-nation I hadn't mentioned. I had assumed Chile had enough destroyers and wouldn't have wanted an odd calibre or older hulls. I was obviously wrong and this deal is probably part of the US packages in the region.
