Clarification on the Peruvian/Chinese deal: China will take possession at the beginning of 1943. China will pay 2,000 t per quarter in 1943 and 1944.

Just OOC curious - I know Turkey was bidding on the guns. Were the guns and the ships sold separately?

Nope - whole deal goes to China. Wouldn't have been much of a deal without the guns, I imagine.

Out of curiosity, it appears that your encyclopedia only lists fifteen 1915 class DDs, and neither the 1915 class nor the Sampson class appear to have been refitted. At least, if the were refitted, then the revised sims don't appear to have made it to the encyclopedia. If they were refitted, can you please point me in the direction of their sim?

Updating the Mexican encyclopedia is in the To Do list, specially the destroyer section.

The 1915 SS2 report is of the refitted ships. Mexico does have 21, not sure if the last 6 were refitted. The Sampsons were refitted, they would look almost exactly (more TT) like the Tucker class refit.

Edit: The last 6 1915 class were not refitted.

At the risk of being uncivil, your encyclopedias have been on the To Do list for as long as any of us can remember...

Cavite class Gunboats

As I can find no record of their being sold abroad, it is my expectation to pay them off to the reserve and scrap them as soon as possible.

If a buyer had come forward, please let me know as soon as possible; there is no record I can find.
