October:

05. October:
At the Nanchan test site, the test flights of the new prototypes N1-F1-T1 take place. The first flights show, that the conversion to radial engines
ran without problems. Furthermore should the suitability for carrier-use of this aircraft be examined, but the first tests are showing, that this aircraft
isn't a good choice as carrier aircraft.


15. October:
The GA-5 V3 prototype is making a successful long-haul flight to India.


27. October:
The british engine manufacturer Bristol Motors and the chinese engine manufacturer Huang Po signed a joint-venture. Thus, Huang Po is now
allowed to built the Bristol Hercules II and Hercules III radial engine under license. In Return, Bristol get a 10% stake at the Chinese engine
manufacturers.

Several villages in the Chinese-Tibetan border region are plundered by the former warlord Zhang Xueliang and his troops. At the request of the Dalai Lama,
the chinese government deploy troops in the area. Task of the troops is, to arrest the warlord and send him for the trial to Beijing.



November:

1. November:
The official outcome of the referendum will be announced.

The Chinese people had to choose between:

a) the re-establishment of the monarchy
b) Continuation of the Republic

52,6 % of the population voted in favor for the reintroduction of the monarchy

45,2 % voted for the continuation of the Republic


2,2 % voted abstain

Conclusion:
A slight majority of the population wants the monarchy back.The government has decided, that the coronation of the emperor PU YI should take place on 1.1.1937.


3. November:
Prime minister Chiang Kai Chek and many high level members of the chinese government fly to Edo for a meet with the Japanese imperial house. According to rumors, it is about a unique gift of Japan, for the coronation of PU YI. More details were not known

A Chinese delegation comes back from Germany. The delegation visits different production places and industrie areas in Germany, eg. Junkers in Dessau. Among other things, there was also a student exchange between Germany and China.

3rd Cruiser division (Breda Class), and 3rd Destroyer Flotilla from the DEI. The young Prince Alexander will lead the UKN delegation.

23. November:
The first 10 EW404 aircrafts are delivered from the East Wind Industries Ltd. to the airlines - 4 aircrafts to the EURASIA, 4 aircrafts to the JAL and 2 aircrafts to the airline of SIAM. Also there are 12 Dragonfly's delivered to Persia.


13. December:
After an intensive test program, the Chinese Ministry of Aviation comes to the conclusion that a carrier based variant of the N1-F1 does not make sense.
The prototypes with folding wings and hook are mothballed.The tests show that the equipment of the aircraft with radial engines deliver very good value,
which is why the Ministry placed an order over 60 aircrafts to Nanchan Aviation Industries.


17. December:
A part of the Chinese fleet was allegedly relocated to Dairen, also there were sighted chinese aircrafts at airfields in the province Dalian.

The SAE will send delegates which will arrive on battleships RSAN Imperator and battle veteran RSAN Ophion. Those behemoth will be in company of training cruiser Antenor, four destroyers of the Snake-class (Lachesis, Monatheris, Sidewinder and Viper) and fleet oiler RSAN Berthold van Dyk.

Nordmark and German vessels are welcome to use Dutch facilities for replenishment en route to this important event.
