Compared to the Aichi D3A, I'd suspect it's too light. The engine's of similar design and power, but your aircraft has a take-off weight the same as the Val's light weight, and you're carrying over three times the warload (not counting the additional weight of the .50s vs the Val's 7.7mms). About the only place your plane is less capable is in range, where the Val has about a 30% advantage.

The Bomb load needs to be reduced, I agree the other objections arent that clear cut the Val is both larger and a carrier aircraft.

So how about this bomb load: 1x250kg or 4x75kg bombs

Based on the R-1830 and R-1820, probably 1/3 of your current light weight is going to be the engine, which is a pretty high percentage of the weight to be tied up that way. By the time you've accounted for the crew and the MGs, you're probably at 1/2 the light weight (I'm not including the ammunition for them, just the MGs and their mountings themselves). I suspect it's going to be simply too small as currently listed. I mentioned the Val because it's a plane that did the same role, had an engine of about the same size, etc.

The revised warload's an improvement.
