Transom Sterns

Did we have a rule preventing use of these on slower vessels before a certain date, or just preventing their use.

I vaguely remember a date, but I'm not sure.......

Basically, the rule limited the use of transom sterns before 1930 to small, fast vessels like destroyers. It no longer applies to newly-built ships.
