I fail to see the relevance, not the same gun and not wingmounted. Perhaps looking at the La series would be more useful....

How about the La-5?

This should put the matter to rest.

In what way? The La-5/7 has two 20mm in the nose and the La-9 four 23mm guns in the nose

Your fighter is smaller and is not as barrel shaped..

Note big bulges for guns...

And the length diffrence is a whooping 6cm...

I-28

DIMENSIONS
Wingspan 10.40 m
Length 8.54 m

La-5

DIMENSIONS
Wingspan 9.8 m
Length 8.60 m

Your x/z axis is off. CG appears wrong vertical stabilzer looks small, engine appears to be too massive and heavy for frame to support torque loads. I don't see the room to run the radiator lines and fit in all the armament and ammunition you want......... pilot visibility is appallingly bad....................

Of course if you stretched the tail by about 10% raised your pilot seat[canopy] by a half foot and put larger gun houses on the upper cowling, most of your problems go away.

I'm just curious about what you are attempting, it looks like a choppecd off Lavochkin.

Is that what you wanted?

I love to go on, where is the CG? The oil radiator seems to be fine, why would its lines be interrupted? What do you mean the X/Z axis is off?

You know this a historical design? That actually flew?

So did this:

Nickname: "Pilot killer".

I can sim all I want, but some now want me to be technically real in the strictest sense. You are going to have to prove that bird can carry the guns you want.

I doubt it can. Convince me.

The picture link is broken, proof that it can fly with the armament? Since the La-5/7/9 and the Polikarpov I-185 flew with similar armament and the I-28 protype flew with one ShVAK and two UBS I really dont see why you are doubting it

There is a difference between a flying prototype and a jet paper project transformed into a twin engined pusher aircraft

My machine displays the GeeBee just fine.

What about two crashes out of five flights plus the Russians killing the Yatsenko I-28 did I miss? The plane did that without warloads.

Now then, you are starting to sound like me. This bird doesn't fly that well. You are trying to overarm, it and cram in too much engine. Its trimmed massively to be nose heavy. I can't put it any clearer.

What the hell are you talking about? First prototype broke up during dive when did the second crash happen? Program terminated when the ENGINE was canceled

Where do you get these strange claims from?

From the Russians.

Where do you get yours?

Give me a link because neither Aviastar.ru nor the Complete book of fighters mentions a second crash
