According to my informations a server update went freaky last weekend. A complete back-up was necessary and since then there are some routing-problems. At least that´s testpilots first analysis. He´ll do his best to solve the problems but it may take some more days.

Problems!

Gentlemen,

as most of us have noticed - WesWorld has some problems currently. Something went wrong with the server, either in the past or just lately with an update´, I can´t say for sure. To not explain it all again here is a quote from an email I send to Wes when he asked me about the problems:

Hi Wes!

I´m not sure I can answer your question. It´s all a bit odd.

As it seems most of us, at least me, have been or am using the url wesworld.jk-clan.de to enter the site. This URL is wrong, always has been, actually. The correct adress is http://wesworld.jk-clan.de - in fact he wrong one shouldn´t even work but for some reason did. Until last weekend and a server update which seem to have corrected the error that allowed us to use a wrong URL to contact the site (and link my pictures for example).

There is little Testpilot can do about the URL-thing. We users either need to use the new one now (which opens a can of worms to have everybody know about it) or the provider finds a way to further allow the usage of the "wrong" URL.

Just some minutes ago I tried my luck from work with the old URL which I have saved in my favorites and voilá, it worked and all my pictures have re-appeares again. No idea if that´s a permament success....

So you all probably better save those URLs above to make sure you can connect at least via one of them.

Should I learn more about the issue I´ll let you know....

That makes sense as I use the portal without the www in front of it and haven't had any problems the last few days but did have when the server update was carried out.

Yep preaty much coincides with what I experienced as well. When I did a search it provided me with the up to date link. From then on I was one of the few who could still access the board!
