Icebreaker Admiral Felkerzam departed today for the Canadian port of Esquimalt, where she will take on Canadian officers and crew for missions in Canadian far north. This joint effort of Russian Federation Navy and Royal Canadian Navy is intended to foster closer working relations between them under auspices of SEAR alliance, and to facilitate sharing experience operating in high Arctic conditions.
