Do we need a new crisis?

So do we need a new crisis to spice up things in WW?

With 2 fleet reviews this year, we have enough opportunities for it to occur.

Hell NO!!!!
I've only just got Denmark caught up, and I still have to ruin DF's year with Iberia's 1935 news summary!!

Need? Nope, I at least am still playing catch up. We do have many potential . We have the Czech-German issue on tap, we haven't heard back from the LON or the ICA (led by the English) on the Paracels, Lithuania could relapse, the South American war is ongoing, Yugoslavia-Italy could still go somewhere, we don't know what Peredor has planned for Asir/Hedjaz post riots, there is always Siam-France potential (please no), whoever has been sinking Danish Submarines, the Pirates of the windward straits, the Pirates of the South China Seas, Capt Harlock & co (if not already included),

BUT... there is always room for more :) Just make sure to coordinate with any PCs directly involved.

I much prefere an incident in the "Arabian" gulf myself.

If your so eager for a crisis why not cook it up close to home?

Harlock was last seen chased by the Canadians.
The South Sea pirates were brought under control, but China has indicated some problems- hence their temporary police presence in the Paracels, plus no 'base' was ever busted.
The Windward strait pirates never wrapped up as RAM left, which means there is an armored cruiser hiding somewhere. Iberian presence increased, and the Dutch moved a light cruiser squadron and BC there ostensibly to look for Pirates (actually to deter any Brazilian impulse to raid South Afrikan cargo on Dutch freighters in the mid-Atlantic).

*Vendidad torpedoes Turkish flagship*

"We're very sorry about that! We have no idea how it could have happened!"

*Vendidad torpedoes Turkish flagship*

"Clearly that was an accident, and will not happen again!"

*Vendidad torpedoes Turkish flagship*

"Well, the good news is, we're out of torpedoes on this side of the ship..."

Quartermaster on Turkish flagship: "Why on earth are we missing 13.78", 5.9" and 4.1" rounds, and would someone please inform me why we are doing an inclination test in the middle of a review?!!

*Able seamen points to starboard*

Quatermaster on Turkish flagship: "Why the devil are the Philippino's flying the Indian flag?!"
*Walks away mumbling*

"They really have to do something about those smokers...."

I guess under the terms of the Turko-Greek Treaty of Mutual Hatred Greece would have to side with Persia if shooting started.

Note to self when sending the AC's to the fleet reviews. Make sure they are escorted by destroyers. Maybe I should send the old PDN battleships instead of the AC's, they're a little more expendable.

Romanian captain on Amiral Murgescu: "what in the blazes are the Persians and Turks doing over there? Why they're firing at each other! Romania to the rescue! Full steam ahead!"

Romanian seaman: "Sir, a message from the boiler room, the engineer says we ARE going full steam ahead. "

Romanian captain: well then tell him to go faster. See if this old girl will make 12 knots without blowing up.

Romanian seaman: "Sir, the Greeks are getting involved too, and firing on the Turks. And the gunnery officer wants to know who to fire on?"

Romanian captain: "Fire at both sides, lets really get some chaos going!"
