Coronation Review

Special Announcement from Coldmere to all Nations

With the Crowning of Queen Bethanie of Coldmere to take place on the 24th of August of the year of our Lord 1936, it has been decided that an international fleet review will be held in Coldmere from the 24th to the 30th of August.

All nations are invited to send representatives to the Coronation Service, and to send a ship or ships as representatives to the Fleet Review.

Extra support facilities will be provided by the Kingdom of Nordmark.

Would those wishing to attend please inform us at their earliest convenience as to any ships they may be sending to the review so that preparations might be made.

From Australia comes the heavy cruiser Queensland and the light aircraft carrier Enterprise .

Due to extensive fleet rearrangement and refit schedules that look more like plans for a football offense, the Kingdom of Siam is uncertain as to which vessel shall be sent, but pledges at least one ship to attend.

No, in effect, the review will happen along the southern coast of Norway, with Coldmere as the focal point. Big ship facilities will be provided at Horten & Trondheim.

Kristiansund Bay is quite big though

Polish Hat on:

Poland will be sending its twin Armoured Cruisers, the Zloty Lew, and the Bialy Lew. General Sikorski, the Polish President (whoever it is) and Foreign Minister Beck will be there.

Romanian Hat on:

Romania will be sending its twin Armoured Cruisers, the Dacia, and the Constanta. Romania will be represented be King Carol II, Defence Minister General Ion Antonescu, and Foreign Minister Nicolae Titulescu.

A full complement of Royals will attend. Queen Wilhelmina, representing the Netherlands, Belgium and Kongo will be escorted by Prince Consort Hendrik. Crown Prince William will fly in for the Coronation day. Princess Juliana will attend, escorted by Prince Louis Ferdinand.

From Luxembourg will come Grand Duchess Charlotte and her consort Prince Felix.

Ships attending will be the Royal Yacht Nassau, the Battleship Utrecht, the cruisers Zwarte Arend and Zwarte Luuew, and the 8th Destroyer flotilla 8th of Z52, Z69, Z70, Z71 and Z72

I expect Manzo will be just itching to have a second go going to Coldmere, which is probably why I'll have Fighters on CAP duty during the entire event.

The KM checks to see if Bismarck can be made ready for the review, but disappointed, informs the hosts that Germany will be sending the CB Von der Tann.



The US looks at it's fleet, shrugs, and will be sending USS Lexington.
