The Belgian Army

The Belgian army is organized into 12 Infantry Divisions, 6 reserve Divisions, 2 Cavalry Divisions, and two Ardennes divisions a motorized cavalry brigade and a mechanized brigade.

The Infantry is organized with 3 Infantry regiments, an Artillery regiment, an Engineer battalion, a Support battalion and supporting companies.

Belgium fields 75 French-built FT-17/18 tanks built 1919-21

Belgium fields 42 of T-15 version f the Vickers-Carden-Loyd 6 ton light tank model 1934 delivered as a Mark VIc. (designated T15 by the Belgians) The T-15 had a two-man crew, a FN-Browning 13.2mm MG.

Belgium fields the T-13 tank destroyer, based on the T-15 but armed with the FRC 47mm gun. The unit was considered a tank destroyer and mounted a 47mm cannon. All models had a fully rotating turret with the following exception, models B1 and B2 had to lower the side panels first in order to fully rotate.

There are 30 B1s, 20 B2s, and 150 B3s on order.

Introduced in 1936 to serve with the 4-Division Belgian-Dutch Mobile Corps, the Mechanized Brigade is doctrinally viewed as a highly mobile reserve with secondary duties as a cavalry force.
