Predicitions for 1936

Since i am bored, what do you think are the most interesting things that will happen during 1936?

Well, let's see...

- The Netherlands and India will taunt each other a bit.
- The South American War will end.
- Lithuania will continue to be an issue in Europe.
- Persia may or may not suffer a disaster from disbanding their army, if they continue on that path.
- More nations will pull out of the Cleito Treaty.

The Mexican war of 1936? As for Persia, the lack of an Army is hopefully offset by the basing of superior allied forces. It isnt like an 19th century army makes any difference in case of war

- Australia will try and fail to get SATSUMA and FAR at war with each other.
- Mexico will continue to sling mud at Iberia.
- Peace will continue in WW :(

5

Wednesday, April 16th 2008, 3:00am

- Siam will develop some internal 'problems.'

Anyone think that more nations will be dragged into the South American mess?

Only if they are daft enough!!

I was more thinking of: Oops that wasnt a AB/SAE warship/convoy but a Nordmark/Atlantis/UKN/UK/US/Chile warship/convoy we sunk

11

Nordmark might become involved but I think that's unlikely.

12

Germany is NOT going to become involved, and the US is very unlikely to become involved (got to keep an eye each on Mexico and Iberia, you know....)

Well there is an Australian Civilian Carrier around in the South Atlantic and accidents do happen...

Tough for an Atlantean warship to get cuaght in the South American war as there isn't much action south of French Guiana. A merchant ship on the other hand is possible, in that reguard anyone could get caught up.

The way the war is heading now such an incident would likely serve to either hasten its end or expand the conflict. In that reguard the threat of expanding the conflict could be enough to end it.

1936 (like each of the preceeding years) is simply another benchmark in Canada's overarching and insidious plan for global domination by 1950.

I vow that our vengeance won't be swift or entertaining. We will draw it out over decades in such a subtle fashion that you'll have to wonder whether the misery in this sim is either manifest or the machinations of Canada or . . . a third thing.

Good evening.

I'd believe this, after seeing what happens to something as cute as a baby harp seal...

Cheers,

Greece will still struggle to perfect it's latest carrier fighter...

*you said you were bored* ; )

Greece expects to add the first part of its shadow program; 2 carriers and 14 destroyers during 1936.

Cheers,

Nordmark is gonna have a mad year at home, topped by some family issues in Coldmere and a big shake up in navy circles.

So getting involved in any war is not on the cards, with the exception of some intimidation of Chile if they look like wavering the wrong way.

Also on trade, the US and Nordish economies will become closer, naturally at the expense of the Canadian economy.

News-wise probably nothing exciting. Perhaps throwing an Energist bomb on top of Oz for attempting to start a war between SATSUMA and FAR. :)
