Motor Torpedo Boats (MTBs) - Torpedna Lodka

The Bulgarian Motor Torpedo Boat fleet is currently composed of four models of boats in a variety of configurations, including two experimental types. The 35-ton Atlantean-built MTL-1 type composes the main strength of the torpedo boat arm, with eighteen boats in commission. The 12-ton RTL-1 class, built locally in Bulgaria, is primarily limited to coastal and riverine operations despite being eighty boats strong.

The experimental 55-ton Korsar-class (two boats) and the 150-ton Otmashtenie-class (two boats) are currently undergoing trials to test new high-speed hulls.
