UKN Coastal Fortifications

The Kingdom of the Netherlands has been building both land and sea fortifications for many years now. This information has been buried in the Dutch Army thread and substantially out of date. So here it is.

Coastal Fortifications as of Q3, 1935
Turreted naval guns are in concrete emplacements, with power for rotation. The 305mm/17 howitzers are in recessed concrete emplacements, and also rotate. Most smaller guns are in kasematen, with the exception of DP or AA mounts. (in addition to the storyline pre-1923 defenses)

The Netherlands
The majority of home defenses are from the period 1880-1922 and are unspecified.

There are a series of old coastal and land fortifications located around major urban centers, originally built 1865-1911. These fortifications were improved between 1917-1923.

There are two defensive on land lines, the Waterline and Grebbeline. These lines were improved 1919-1923 and extended along the Belgian frontier. These lines have been reinforced with concrete kasematen and fire bases and incorporate the old fortifications into the lines. The two lines are linked by connecting fortified lines meant to allow defenders to limit and flank any penetration until the mobile force can launch it's counter attack. These two lines have been updating since 1933.
