Yugoslavia 1935

Potpukovnik Lionhert walked into Produktion Haus six and looked over his command, Pressure was mounting for this project to show results of some type. The Eclipse group had flown their Hurricane to rave Reviews only a few days before, and here he sat still weeks away from demonstrating his prototypes at best.

As he walked towards his office he thought to himself (If only the general staff could understand the difficulties we have already overcome, perhaps they would understand why his Project was moving at such a slow pace. Still they had made a great break through only days before finally finishing the gun assembly, his engineers assured him that the 50.8 mm weapon was perfect for their applications, he simply hoped that it didnt embarrass him.

Project Grosse Katze would go forward, it had to and with its completion His homeland would once again be able to support her military in a proper manner, Independent of outside interference.

All these things he thought and more as he stared longingly at the lovely steal hulls taking form in his command, yes there were only 4 but soon enough there would be more.

Interesting. Italy will need a larger anti-tank gun than the current 47mm. Now, whats happening with that 65mm AA gun...

Potpukovnik Lionhert Cursed the mothers of all Bureucrats Why in gods name couldnt they understand that building things like this took time, as if his development Cycle hadnt bene rushed enough now they wanted the prototypes ready for testing in 30 days.
