April 14th

As expected the Nordish naval task force led by the Battleship Gustav V has arrived in Atlantis to refuel, and equip for Neutrality patrols in the South Atlantic.
Meanwhile the arrival of General Hector Ramon Garioza Ruiz Diaz in Grand Uruguay following SAE transport has sparked anger from the Argentinians.

April 24th

Chinese forces set foot on what is widely reguarded as an Iberian mandate, the Paracel Islands. Troops and engineers also began constructing an airfeild according to Chinese claims, where several aircraft are to be stationed. In essence China has laid claim to the Islands in an effort to combat what it calls Pirate activity. Iberia and Denmark have already submited loud protests claiming that these actions clearly disreguard the Leagues authority, claims that for the moment seem to hold merret. Atlantean diplomats also issued less stern protests that never the less support the Iberian/Danish point of veiw on the matter.

April 25th

Further protests from other nations begin to mount against the Chinese incursion into the Iberian mandate of the Paracels further increasing tentions over the issue.

May 10th

Events in eatern Europe seem to be worsening as Polish and Russian troosp mass along each others borders and that of Lithuania.

May 14th

Atlantean engineers have begun work on several new air warning stations along the nothern coast, the instalations dubbed "Skynet" by one Atlantean airforce official are being built to increase the ability to detect enemy aircraft. Additional stations are also planned for the west coast.

June 12th

Intense rioting has broken out in Lithuania seemingly as a result of Polish and German remarks in reguards to Polish/Lithuanian reunification.

June 19th

Reports from Lithuania indicate that an insurection has begun. Ethnic Poles have risen up in rebellion in Southern Lithuania and have begun seizing key government and civil institutions.

June 22nd

Reports from Lithuania confirm the origin of the insurectionists in Lithuania as ethnic poles, united under the leadership of Aleksy Letowska and have declared them selves as part of the POW, Polish Military Organization.

June 25th

The Government of Atlantis has declaired that it does not recognise the legitimacy of the Republic of Wilno, instead still recognising it as an armed insurection sparked by ethnic Poles with Polish support.

June 27th, 1935

Russian President Chernov, and Foreign Minister Litvinov touched down in Kaunas -in his presidential plane Kerensky One - without incident, under the watchful eyes of Lithuanian Governmental forces.

June 29th

Presidents Smetona and Chernov, and Foreign Ministers Urbsys and Litvinov, finished their conference to day. On the steps of the Presidential Palace they made this joint public statement to waiting Lithuanian and foreign press agents.

"Following private and close discussion of Russian and Lithuanian needs and political, economic and military considerations,the Republic of Lithuania and the Russian Federation have agreed to and signed this day a Mutual Assistance Pact. It will offer both our countries a measure of security in the years to come, and will mark a progressive step in our countries sometimes awkward past relationship."
