The XF-84H was one of those crazy 1950s ideas, like Boron fuelled ramjets and the nuclear powered X-6. Sometimes I'm glad the Green movement got going!

Lets hope we see lots of these toxic and exotic ideas in WW! :D

Basically the blades were always at supersonic. thus creating a constant sonic wave disturbance. The Air Force forced the tests into the desert away from the base just to start the aircraft on the ground.

Our correspondant in Argentina was allowed to visit FMAs test facility in Cordoba where he took this photograph reportedly to be the prototype I-01 fighter.

Furthe enquires about performance and armament were rebuffed by the staff but at least seven of these new fighters were seen undergoing testing. One reportedly acheived 340mph during tests.
