Bunker at max displacement = 31 tons

Complement:
50 - 66

Cost:
£0.159 million / $0.636 million

Distribution of weights at normal displacement:
Armament: 10 tons, 2.2 %

Machinery: 30 tons, 6.2 %
Hull, fittings & equipment: 295 tons, 62.1 %
Fuel, ammunition & stores: 34 tons, 7.1 %
Miscellaneous weights: 100 tons, 21.1 %

Overall survivability and seakeeping ability:
Survivability (Non-critical penetrating hits needed to sink ship):
954 lbs / 433 Kg = 23.5 x 4.3 " / 110 mm shells or 0.8 torpedoes
Stability (Unstable if below 1.00): 1.03
Metacentric height 0.6 ft / 0.2 m
Roll period: 12.8 seconds
Steadiness - As gun platform (Average = 50 %): 46 %
- Recoil effect (Restricted arc if above 1.00): 0.40
Seaboat quality (Average = 1.00): 1.46

Hull form characteristics:
Hull has rise forward of midbreak
Block coefficient: 0.515
Length to Beam Ratio: 6.84 : 1
'Natural speed' for length: 12.81 kts
Power going to wave formation at top speed: 54 %
Trim (Max stability = 0, Max steadiness = 100): 29
Bow angle (Positive = bow angles forward): 0.00 degrees
Stern overhang: 0.00 ft / 0.00 m
Freeboard (% = measuring location as a percentage of overall length):
- Stem: 13.45 ft / 4.10 m
- Forecastle (15 %): 9.19 ft / 2.80 m
- Mid (55 %): 9.19 ft / 2.80 m (8.20 ft / 2.50 m aft of break)
- Quarterdeck (15 %): 8.37 ft / 2.55 m
- Stern: 8.37 ft / 2.55 m
- Average freeboard: 9.05 ft / 2.76 m
Ship tends to be wet forward

Ship space, strength and comments:
Space - Hull below water (magazines/engines, low = better): 60.7 %
- Above water (accommodation/working, high = better): 89.1 %
Waterplane Area: 2,658 Square feet or 247 Square metres
Displacement factor (Displacement / loading): 192 %
Structure weight / hull surface area: 64 lbs/sq ft or 312 Kg/sq metre
Hull strength (Relative):
- Cross-sectional: 1.50
- Longitudinal: 6.41
- Overall: 1.74
Hull space for machinery, storage, compartmentation is excellent
Room for accommodation and workspaces is cramped
Good seaboat, rides out heavy weather easily

Carries 40 1,500t mines. Also capable of minesweeping operations.

It'll do the job

The aft gun may interfere with minelaying ops. I'd just put one gun forward.

I agree with the Admiral here. Her aft gun may interfer with her mine ops. I´d probably also modify her main gun armor. A 50mm front plate will be quite heavy and overkill while 10mm sides are hardly more than weather protection. Why not use 30/20mm or something?

Otherwise she looks like a very sound design for coastal use.

I'd maybe change the freeboard to give her a clear low quarterdeck for the mines and a raised forecastle for the gun, funnel and bridge.
