That's an option too. However I'm completely out of ideas when it comes to names for indian ships, planes or tanks...I mean, I know nothing about India other than today it's relatively poor, has a big army and navy, and is full of people...

maybe rocky could give me some ideas, if I end managing it. But, if I can, I'd rather get Iberia because, well, I'm spanish, and because I'm so much more familiar with the country itself...

Those were nice compact little designs, and I could see the same uses you saw for them. I designed battlecruisers right in that range also that could have been the other half of that formula. However I set the bar to high, as I wanted to mount the new 360mm gun to have some threat as part of the battleline, while also having the speed to chase the SATSUMA BC's or at least keep up with the current battleline. That combo was marginal

Ultimately the decider was to allow better joint operations with allies and flexibility in deployment, but the 'bang for the buck' your designs promised was enticing.

Yes I know what you mean. The light BCs would not be good enough for battleline actions. Too light for the role.

I wanted them for their flexibility in the rest of the roles (Raiders, convoy protection, AAA escorts, Cruiser killers, etc), but I can perfectly see why did you go with the big BB instead of the two smaller BCs

Bernhard says that Mac got a bit sick of things and couldn't get around to doing anything after getting back from Amsterdam. Bernhard will give him a poke and see what he says.

Iberia will probably end up in Hispanic hands again.
