Commercial Airlines and Route Information

The national airline Aeravias Argentinas S.A. flies six Junkers Ju 52 airliners along with two second hand Junkers J.33 aircraft.

The Posta Argentina has an aerial service to rural areas and Brazil via the SAE and, eventually, Chile. Aeroposta Argentina S.A. is equipped with four Ju 52 and five J33/34 land and seaplanes. Lufthansa pilots have already made several high-altitude Andes flights and with their help by 1935 it is expected that Aeroposta services will fly over the Andes regularly.

Update for 1937/38

In early 1938 four Lockheed Super Electras will be ordered for delivery in August.

The Compania Argentina de Marinanavegacion Rividavia was formed January 1st 1937 with 12 FMA I.Ae.4 Courier mail planes. Since the projected mail ship carriers are not yet ready these aircraft are being used on land mail routes under Aeroposta Argentina S.A. contract with services to Paraguay and Grand Uruguay. It is hoped the mail carrier will be ready for service next year although plans to operate a second have been abandoned.

Corrientes-Formosa-Ascuncion twice weekly

Trans Oceanic Airlines was created in 1939 by Major de Aero Philippe Carlos Roja and Wing Commander Michel Endress as a joint venture. Currently the airline has four TMD Model 426 Mariner flying boats and has an order for four Marwijk Clippers.
