Its expected that Colombia will build its next batch of destroyers based on the newest Atlantean class of destroyers.

San Rogue (modified Jan Jacinto) class. Another destroyer class modified on the San Jacinto class, this class of ships uses the new Atlantean 75mm AA guns. The design also has improved anti-sub equipment, electronics and fire direction equipment as well as an improved range.

San Augustine (Modified San Jacinto) class

The Colombian navy built a further twelve units of the San Jacinto class in two batches to a modified design using a new 5.1" turret design, increased 20mm armament and slightly modified bridge structure similar to the J class destroyers Atlantis built for Brazil. Four of the twelve ships were ordered in 1944.
