Hairyplane

http://www.geocities.com/red_admiral_italy/plane01.html

Have fun with this. If anyone wants the planebuilder spreadsheet for this then just yell.

This is for 1940/41.

Hairyplane?
Is the hair to improve the aerodynamic performance of this plane? :-)
Weird plane... but weird planes were build in that era.

I was thinking Hairyplane because the material looks like hair. It's actually meant to be concrete, but its more or less the right color. Having hair wouldn't improve the performance because it is only limited by the Critical Mach. At 27,500ft she will do 500mph. I have managed to get a piston engined plane doing 547mph but that had 4x3000hp engines and was somewhat useless.

The Basis for the planebuilder sheet, to actually see if it flies is here. The basis for the drawing is a stekch i made ages ago.

No other comments of disgust?? Planebuilder isn't that hard to use when you get used to it.
