The arresting wires are a remnant from when the art started out as another Secret Evil Project™ for Ith that had a much shorter flightdeck. Next revision I'll add more.
The elevators are a result of the Blackburn sharks and the original elevators that were 32x32 ft. Rather than put in huge elevators, I jut put wing and nose extentions to allow the Sharks.
