4 squads - 9 men, 1 LMG
Command - 1 CO, 1 senior NCO, 4 men

Fallschirmjager Company - (138 men, 5 officers)
3 platoons (41 men, 1 officer)
2 mortar teams (3 soldiers, 1 50mm mortar)
Command (1 CO, 1 XO, 1 NCO, 8 men)

Fallschirmjager Weapons Company - (102 men, 2 officers)
2 * Mortar Platoon (39 men, 1 officer, 4 81mm mortar)
2 * AT Section (12 men, 6 ATRs)

Fallschirmjager AA Battery - (60 men, 2 officers)
3 AA Sections (18 men, 2 20mm guns)
Command (1 CO, 1 XO, 6 men)

Fallschirmjager Nebelwerfer Company (81 men, 5 officers)
3 Nebelwerfer Sections (23 men, 1 officer, 2 105mm mortars)
Command (1 CO, 1 XO, 12 men)

Fallschirmjager Battalion - (536 men, 22 officers)
3 Fallschirmjager Companies (139 men, 5 officers)
1 Fallschirmjager Weapons Company (102 men, 3 officers)
Command (1 CO, 1 XO, 2 Staff, 20 men)

Fallschirmjager Regiment - (1955 men, 91 officers)
3 Fallschirmjager Battalions (539 men, 22 officers)
1 Fallschirmjager Nebelwerfer Company (81 men, 5 officers)
1 Fallschirmjager AA Battery (20mm) (60 men, 2 officers)
1 Support Company (126 men, 4 officers)
Command (1 CO, 1 XO, 6 staff, 80 men)

[Note: in 1935 the first Fallschirmjager Regiment is being formed.]

[Note: in 1935, the Fallschirmjager do not, as yet, have any gliders, so the Nebelwerfer Company and AA Battery would be limited in any airdrop operations. While the Nebelwerfers could be packed into containers and airdropped, providing sufficient ammunition that way would be problematic, and the 2cm AA guns could not be air-dropped at all.]

[Note: the Fallschirmjagers are not part of the Heer, they are part of the Luftwaffe. The OOB is placed in the Heer section just for convenience.]

In January 1937, 1 company of the regiments are mounted in armored half-tracks, with the regiments of 1 Panzer Division having their full complement of armored half-tracks. Long term, the intent is to have all the infantry mounted in armored half-tracks, but this will take time.]

[Motor Fusilier units are mounted on motorcycles.]

[Note: size of panzer units in terms of men vary based on whether the panzers have a 3, 4, or 5 man crew. In 1937, light panzers (Panzer IIs) have a 3 man crew, fielded medium panzers (Panzer IIIs & Panzer IVs) have a 5 man crew, and fielded assault guns (StuG IIIs) have a 4 man crew. The Panzer Is (Christie M1931s) are now being used for training only.]

Heer Corps-level formations

The Heer's Corps-level formations, unlike it's divisions, are not standardized. In general, a Corps is formed of 2-4 divisions (usually 3), commanded by a Corps headquarters, and supported by independent regiments and battalions attached to the headquarters. The most usual independent units attached to a Corps headquarters are artillery regiments and battalions, infantry & cavalry regiments, anti-aircraft battalions, engineering and pioneer battalions, signals battalions, support battalions, military police battalions, and recon battalions (being expanded to regiments over the course of 1936). Many of these attachments are semi-permanent (for example, the 4th Recon Battalion has been attached to the 4th Infantry Corps for the entirety of it's existence), while others are strictly temporary (the 6th and 7th Heavy Artillery Battalions, with their 35cm guns, have been temporarily attached to 6 different Corps over their 5 years in existence, and are currently attached to no Corps at all). In the future, it is expected that anti-tank battalions (and should they be formed, regiments) will be attached at Corps level as well, along with possibly assault artillery and tank battalions or regiments.
