You'd have to see it personally, a description just doesn't do it justice. They aren't regular holes, more like you are driving along and one track disappears, toppling the vehicle. Its a bad place to take young children, you'd never see them again. This is the area Keflavik - Reykavik - Borgarnes, the only places with some value. Theres basically nothing elsewhere.

August 23rd

The CNR (Cross Nordmark Railway) has Completed it electrification of it's main line between Karlskrona and Trondheim, via Oslo. The major project which has taken nearly 10years, and absorbed large Government grants, has involved the replacement of many narrow tunnels, and the construction of several new power stations to provide power for the trains.
The new trains are propelled by a 15Kv overhead supply, and are capable of a maximum of 80mph

Something like 57,250 lbf (254 kN) starting TE?
Oh no! The Japanese loc uses 11,500 V and not 15,000 V!

August 28th

The Argentine diplomat Alfredo Castagone has arrived in Stockholm. There are expected to be many discussions with the King and members of the Riksdag concerning all matters to do with South America and the Sout Atlantic.

August 30th

Alfredo Castagone has moved onto Karlskrona where he will be guided around the Naval Dockyard by the King himself. Following this he is expected to be made welcome in the Palace of Karlskrona where further talks will take place.

September 2nd

It has been announced that despite great discussion, few agreements have been reached during the past few days diplomatic discussions. Argentinas main request was to purchase the South Shetland Islands and South Georgia, which after much thought, the King refused stating that Nordmark had paid far to greater price to let the Islands go.

On a brighter note though, The Government has agreed to reducing trading fees for Nordish traders whishing to trade with Argentina, and to aid in the construction of a 3 foot gauge railway network in the south of the Country, centering aroung the Port town of Rio Gallegos.


September 8th

The NCR (Nordmark Central Railway) has announced a new fleet of Train ferries to replace the current vessels operating on the Trelleborg-Sassnitz route. The six new ships will be built in yards in Stockholm, and are expected in service this time next year.
The entry inot service of the new ships will co-incide with the completion of the planned electrification of the railway line between Trelleborg and Goteborg, which is on the Karlskrona-Oslo line
