Foreign Minister Stresseman has left Geneva for Berlin after a meeting that he described as "a frank, business-linke meeting." "Discussions were wide-ranging, with many questions being asked and answered, leading to follow-on questions and so on. A good meeting, as meetings with the Swiss usually are."

The Luftwaffe has published two new requests for proposals to industry.
The first, for a schnellbomber, or fast bomber, looks for a twin-engined aircraft with a maximum speed of 375 km/h, a bomb load of 500 kg, and a range of 750 km. With this speed, little defensive armament is expected to be necessary, so only 2 7.92mm MG15s are specified.
The second, for a new single-engined fighter design, required a speed of 400 km/h at 6000m, an armament of 2 MG17s and 2 MG151s, and a wing loading of less than 100kg/m2.
